More than just a tour, Outernational is a cultural bridge — connecting London’s genre-bending sound with audiences and artists abroad through concerts, workshops, and collaborations in cities like Melbourne, Sydney, and Tokyo. The project champions innovation, diversity, and artistic exchange, bringing the UK’s most forward-thinking musicians to global stages.
Among this year’s featured artists is DoomCannon — the moniker of London-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dominic Canning. A key figure in the UK jazz renaissance, DoomCannon first drew attention as a member of TriForce and Project Karnak before stepping into the spotlight with his debut album Renaissance (2022) that gained him a mob nomination. His music blends expansive jazz harmonies, hip-hop rhythms, and cinematic textures, often tackling themes of identity, transformation, and resilience. Known for his explosive live shows, DoomCannon has performed at major festivals, served as musical director for Celeste, and appeared on stages from the Montreux Jazz Festival to SXSW Austin 2023
